Careers

Environmental consultants work on commercial or government contracts to address a variety of environmental issues for their clients. They cover a wide range of disciplines such as assessment of air, land and water contamination, environmental impact assessment, environmental audit, waste management and the development of environmental policy and environmental management systems.

The Environmental Consulting Society provides excellent practical experience in the field of consulting. The creation of Green League Table analytical reports and face to face or telephone contact with clients within the College Ball Sustainability Project are crucial skills in the consulting field.

It is also a constructive way of being involved with environmental issues, with the work we are doing having a recognisable impact on both individuals and colleges.
